Get ready! The Annual Clean-Up Day is Saturday, September 27, 8 a.m.–2 p.m., at the IGH Central Maintenance Facility (8168 Barbara Avenue).
Residents of IGH are invited to this one-stop-shop disposal event to get rid of unwanted items.
Visit ighmn.gov/CollectionEvents to find the list of accepted items and prices of disposal, and to learn how vendors will process your items.
Reminders: Cash and check payment only; please bring small bills. Proof of residency, such as a driver’s license, is required. The event will be held rain or shine.
Accepted Items: Residents pay to dispose of mattresses, box springs, appliances, electronics, furniture and rimmed tires. Select items are free to recycle at Clean-Up Day such as bikes, light duty rimless tires and confidential paper for secure on-site shredding.
NOT Accepted: Household hazardous waste, including paint and chemicals, and construction and demolition debris, such as concrete, insulation, asphalt, lumber and shingles. Search the online Recycling Guide for local disposal options at ighmn.gov/Recycle.
