Jader Bignamini Conducts the Detroit Symphony Orchestra

Enjoy a captivating program rife with rich musical storytelling as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra returns to Interlochen. Acclaimed for trailblazing performances, collaborations with the world’s foremost artists, and deep connections to its city, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra is widely regarded as one of the nation’s most accomplished orchestras. Music Director Jader Bignamini leads the ensemble in three evocative works: the Overture to Omar by Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels; Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice; and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, Op. 35.
