Day 2 Description
Come learn about Mixed Formation Skydiving (MFS) with a fun and friendly Scrambles-style competition hosted by Chanel Laffin!
(No MFS experience necessary)
Mixed Formation Skydiving combines belly flying, back flying, sit flying, and head-down, creating some of the most fun and unique dive flows possible!
“Scrambles” means you’ll be paired with a different partner each round.
We’ll complete 6 jumps, drawn from the Mixed Formation Skydiving dive pool. Your individual points from each round will be totalled to determine the winners.
Sweet prizes and lifetime bragging rights go to the top finishers.
Since the MFS camera flyer is always part of the team—and arguably the most challenging position to fly—each Advanced participant will be required to shoot video for 1 or 2 rounds.
A good attitude is key for this event. We do a lot of laughing and award STYLE POINTS every round for epic maneuvers and hilarious flubs!
TWO DIVISIONS!
Advanced: Must be able to take docks and be a safe, proficient flyer in all positions—Head Down, Head Up, on Belly, and Back. You should also be willing to rotate through the camera slot on some rounds.
Intermediate: Head-Up, Belly, and Back only! Participants must be able to take basic docks and move and fly safely in these positions.

Please only sign up if you KNOW you will be attending. No-shows or last-minute cancellations really mess with the event logistics.
REQUIREMENTS
— Ability to safely fly and take docks Head Up (both divisions) and Head Down (Advanced only)
— Be able to hit the record button on your helmet-mounted camera. Willingness to fly outside video for 1-2 rounds (Advanced division).
— AAD and freefly-friendly rig
— Availability for the entire day to complete all rounds, including potential weather holds
— A positive attitude and the ability to laugh at yourself. MFS is challenging and often quite funny!
