Bio on Sr. Rita:
Sister Rita D’Souza, DLJC, originally from India, is a member of a Franciscan Charismatic Religious Congregation, Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, whose motherhouse is in the diocese of Amarillo, Texas. She served on the General Council of her Congregation and Mission Advancement Director for 15 years after which she was sent to their local house in Monterrey, Mexico for almost ten years. Sister is currently the Administrator of The Ark and The Dove Retreat Center in Gibsonia. After she received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as a 19-year-old, her life changed radically. It was a “falling in love” experience that resulted in her vocation as a Religious Sister. Sister has a heart for bringing the Good News to people everywhere. She was privileged to go on eight different mission trips to Tanzania and Kenya with Renewal Ministries.
