The Block Northway is hosting a "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive on Thursday, August 21, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., directly benefiting students and families across the North Hills School District.
Community members are encouraged to participate by donating new school supplies to help students start the year strong.
An ABC Transit school bus will be on site between DSW and Lands’ End to collect the donations, with the goal of “stuffing” it full of essential supplies. Items such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, folders, lunchboxes and other essential supplies are welcome.
In addition to donating supplies, visitors can enjoy the weekly farmers market held at The Block Northway during the event.
Those unable to attend but still wishing to support North Hills students can contribute by making a financial donation to the North Hills Foundation at www.nhsd.net/foundation.
The North Hills Foundation supports and enriches the educational experience for all students in the North Hills School District by championing, funding and enhancing opportunities in academics, arts and athletics.
