The Indianapolis Propylaeum is proud to present the Sunset Sound Immersion Series, a unique wellness experience in support of the upcoming Inner and Outer Space installation, part of this year’s Spirit & Place Festival. Hosted in our historic mansion, this series is a restorative journey of movement, sound, and visual art.
Led by Diane Hancock, a seasoned yoga instructor and vibrational sound artist, each session blends gentle yoga, guided meditation, and a full-body gong sound journey to calm the mind and soothe the body. Visual artist Esther Hale joins the experience with her large-scale oil paintings exploring the wonder and beauty of the cosmos. Her celestial works, on display during each session, echo the themes of awe and inner exploration found in the installation itself.
Chairs are available for seated meditation and deep listening. If you wish to lie down for the experience, please bring a mat, blanket, pillow or anything that provides comfort on the floor. This event is more than a fundraiser. It reflects our mission to uplift local artists, nurture creative expression, and foster inclusive cultural experiences.
