Listen To Your Mother Indy

This is an even better way to celebrate Mother's Day! For the seventh year, Haley Lawrence will direct and present LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER INDY, the national storytelling show that gives motherhood a microphone.

Enjoy a well-crafted 90-minute journey of true stories about motherhood—being a mom, having a mom, losing a mom, finding a mom—as many interpretations of the theme of mothering as you can imagine. From hilarious and heartwarming to emotionally intense and profound, LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER entertains, energizes, brings the community together, and leaves everyone feeling a little less alone and a little more understood. That's the goal. A LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER show features about a dozen original readings. It is read live on-stage by local authors, actors, mothers, fathers, kids, and anybody with something to say about motherhood.

It's an afternoon of laughter, tears, and inspiring stories. The best part? This event supports a local charity that supports women. LTYM will sponsor Soroptimist Indianapolis Metro's Cash Scholarship Fund for Women this year.

This show will be at the Indiana Landmarks Center on Sunday, May 10, at 2:00 pm. Tickets are non-refundable and are $25 or $30 for VIP seating and $30 Cash only at the door. Livestream tickets are available for $15

Raffle tickets are $5 or $20 for five, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Soroptimist Indianapolis Metro's Scholarship Fund for Live Your Dream Awards and the Virginia Wagner Award.

There will be an awards ceremony for the winners starting promptly at 2 pm.
