Join staff from the Marion County Soil and Water Conservation District and Indy Urban Acres for a workshop to learn about invasive plant identification and management, cover crops and native plant selection! The workshop will be held at the 5 acre Indy Urban Acres farm site and will feature guest presenter Nathanael Pilla from Midwest Biological Survey. The workshop will include the following topics using various projects on the farm property:
The workshop will be held at the site of IUA's Plant Sale and the first 10 registrants who ALSO attend the workshop will receive a $25 gift card for shopping the sale onsite!
The program is funded with the generous support of grants from the National Association of Conservation Districts and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture's Clean Water Indiana program.
Attendees will be limited to 25 registrants.

When: 9:00-12 Noon on Friday 5/16. Wear appropriate outdoor attire for being outside! Drinking water will be provided.
