"Becoming a Storyteller: A Study of Jesus’s Parables" will be a four-week study in July over dinner on Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:30 p.m. starting July 9. The first session will be held at Panera Bread, 6055 N. Keystone Ave., Indianapolis.
We will look at Jesus the great storyteller, who shares the good news to the people through the form of parables. We will look at these parables and ask:
* Why did Jesus tell the stories he did?
* How did Jesus tell those stories?
* When did Jesus tell those stories?
* And to whom did He tell these stories to?
We will use our discoveries to think about how we might become better storytellers of the greatest story of all time. The story that offers the best kind of life. We will spend time remembering the good news of the Gospel for ourselves and practice sharing the good news together. It will be a time of deep fellowship, rich study of Scripture, good food, and lots of stories. If you want to learn how to be more effective in sharing your faith with others, this is a place for you! If that scares you, this is also a place for you! No matter where you are in your faith journey we invite you to come and dive into the good news with us as we remember what it means to be disciples of Jesus, the great storyteller.
