The inaugural Parallel 45 Brewing Cribbage Tournament is January 25th at 2pm. So the next two Wednesday game nights are devoted to Cribbage Practice Sessions. Some extra boards will be available but if you have your own, please bring it along.

Created by Sir John Suckling (unfortunate surname), Cribbage has been around since the 1630s and is a modification of an earlier Tudor era game called Noddy. It is a card game that uses a standard deck of 52 cards and peg board for scorekeeping. Players race to 120 points. Cribbage is primarily a 2-player game but is easily adapted for 3 and 4 players. Points are scored for cards adding to 15, for pairs, runs of 3 or more, and during card play for the last to play a card and/or reach 31.
