Camp 127: Intermediate

Blue Horizons will be hosting an Intermediate Pony Camp
* Intermediate to Pre-Advanced riders
* Must be able to walk, trot, canter and do trotting poles/small jumps) unaided. Can bring their own horse or pony.
* This is a sleep over camp
* Child’s Age 6 and up
* A combination of the following will be covered - all weather dependent:
- Basic stable management (eg. looking after your horse, etc)
- Farrier - do's & don'ts (eg. shoeing, teeth filing, etc.)
- Basic veterinary skills (eg, hoof abscises, minor cuts & injuries, horse sickness, colic, etc.)
- Riding equipment (eg. correct use of tack, etc.)
- Riding lessons will be held daily
- PoloX lessons will be held (those with rackets please bring)
- If time allows a mini gymkhana, obstacle or treasure hunt will be held
- A hike to the waterfall
- Building show & Cross Country jumps
- Basic Dressage & Show jumping
- Plus lots more.....
