This bilingual walk is part of the Living Coast Discovery Center's year round program called "Trail to Bay Challenge". The event, which takes place during Latino Conservation week and Tijuana River Action Month, will explore the incredible biodiversity of the Tijuana Estuary. Join Francisco the "Bugologist" as he guides participants along the trails highlighting native plants, animals, and especially insects!

Meeting Location: We will be meeting outside the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center at 301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA 91932
Driving Directions: Follow I-5 S to Coronado Ave in San Diego. Turn right onto Coronado Ave. Continue onto Imperial Beach Blvd. Turn left onto 3rd St. 3rd St turns left and becomes Caspian Way. Turn right into Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center.
Suggested Parking: Parking available at visitor center and on the street.
Restrooms and Water: Available at Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center after 10:00am
Program Time(s): 9am-11:00am
Hike Length: 0.75 miles
Trail Difficulty Level: This trail is a flat dirt/gravel path that is listed as easy.
Recommended Gear: Comfortable walking shoes, water pack/bottle, layers of clothing
