SFA Encuentro: Student Organizing Retreat for Farmworker Justice in Immokalee, Florida

The SFA Encuentro is a decades-long grassroots organizing tradition that brings students and youth from across the country together to build skill and strategize for sustained and creative action.

At the Encuentro, students and youth will have the opportunity to build community with movement leaders from across the country, immerse themselves in SFA’s diverse farmworker solidarity network, and sharpen their organizing and leadership skills. The weekend will kick-off on the evening of Friday, October 10th and close on Monday, October 13th—rooting our Indigenous Peoples' Day celebrations in the movement for farmworker justice and Campaign for Fair Food.
