The Municipal Agriculture Office once again offering the Libreng Kapon for dogs this coming November 26, 2025. To all pet lovers and fur parents who are willing or want to avail the services, please come and visit our office at the Guimbal Municipal Hall during office hours for the registration. Upon registration you have to sign the Consent provided by OPVET and MAO. First come, First serve basis only. Walk in during the scheduled date will not be accepted. No consent form, No libreng Kapon. With a minimum of 30 hds. but only 5 females can be spayed and the remaining 25 for males to be neutered. We welcome those with breeds but we prioritized the ASPINS. Registration will start tommorrow November 20, 2025 until November 25, 2025. All private messages and those who drop comments below for reservation will not be accepted.

Pre-Operative Instructions for Canine Neuter Surgery Requirements:
* Healthy Animals Only: Apparently healthy dogs are eligible for surgery.
* Recommended Age: Neuter or Spay is recommended at minimum of six-eight months of age. For male pets, we will not accept cryptorchid (undescended testicles) male pets. For female pets, we prohibit pregnant or in-heat/"estrous" pets
* Breed Preference: While all breeds are welcome, priority may be given to native breeds (ASPINS).
* Rabies Vaccination: Animals must be vaccinated against rabies at least 14 days prior to the scheduled surgery. Proof of vaccination may be required.
Pre-Surgery Preparation:
A. Night Before Surgery:
* Fasting: Withhold all food for eight ( 8 ) hours prior to the scheduled surgery time.
* Bathing/Cleaning: Bathe your pet or thoroughly clean the genital and abdominal areas to minimize the risk of infection.
* Dryness: Ensure your pet is clean and completely dry before admission.
* Water Restriction: Remove access to drinking water first thing in the morning on the day of surgery.
B. Morning of Surgery:
* Continued Fasting: Do not give any food or water on the morning of the procedure. This is crucial to prevent vomiting while under anesthesia.
Upon registration, you will be required to sign a consent form to be provided by the OPVet staff or MAO staff. Please read this form carefully and ask any questions you may have before signing.
