HULMAHAN, Carlo De Laza Art Talk and Workshop

HULMAHAN, a collaboration with the UPV Museum of Art and Cultural Heritage, features sculptor Carlo de Laza, currently an artist-in-residence at Puluy-an Art Space. As part of the program, he will lead an Art Talk and Workshop, where he will explore his practice and demonstrate the intricate process of resin molding.

A graduate of UP Diliman’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Sculture) program, De Laza has earned multiple distinctions, including three consecutive Shell National Student Art Competition placements (2012–2014) and a Special Citation in the 2021 Metrobank Art and Design Excellence (MADE) competition. His artistic journey includes several residencies, now culminating in his ongoing Puluy-an Art Space residency.
