Special Talk: Botanical Illustration – Art, Science and Discovery

Lucy T Smith, award-winning botanical illustrator, will talk about the excitement of working at Kew Gardens. Using highlights from her 30-year career, she will show how contemporary botanical illustrators continue a centuries-long tradition of collaboration with botanists, documenting and sharing their exciting discoveries in plant science. Ticket price includes refreshments. This event is organised by the Friends of Valentines Mansion.
