This talented group will present a dynamic and expressive program including:
• Lyric Quartette by William Grant Still — a vibrant three-movement work ("The Sentimental One," "The Quiet One," and "The Jovial One")
• Plan and Elevation (The Grounds of Dumbarton Oaks) by Caroline Shaw — an imaginative five-movement suite inspired by lush gardens
• String Quartet No.1 in G minor, Op.27 by Edvard Grieg — a powerful four-movement masterpiece blending lyricism with Nordic spirit
