Rett Longmore Lecture

We’re thrilled to welcome Southeast Idaho native Rett Longmore for an upcoming artist lecture! Originally from Iona, Rett’s creative journey has taken him from the rugged peaks of the Rockies to the remote coastlines of West Africa, and from the animation studios of Portland and Los Angeles back home to Idaho. With a background in character animation from the Art Institute of Phoenix, Rett brings a storyteller’s eye to his figurative and wildlife sculptures—capturing the narrative "key frame" of motion in each piece. A member of the National Sculpture Society and a familiar face at the Art Museum of Eastern Idaho, Rett now works from his studio at the Willard Art Center, where he continues to explore the intersections of animation, sculpture, and fine art. You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn from Rhett's unique perspective and rich artistic journey!
