Join us on Saturday, September 20th from 2-4pm at the Water to Wine Venue and Hall in Ida, Mi for an afternoon of collaboration with One Hope Wine and The Inspired Lumber Workshop. Participants will create a 10x10 charcuterie arrangement on a beautiful, handmade keepsake charcuterie board, crafted by veteran and first responder graduates of the Workshop’s Salute to Carpentry program. Proceeds from all wine sales from the event will benefit the Workshop’s partner 501c3 non-profit, The Inspired Lumber Project, which raises funds to provide free access to the program and the Workshop where those that have served our country and or community can develop new skills and find a renewed sense of purpose.
In this collaborative workshop, guests will learn to create an edible work of art using a curated selection or cured meats, artisanal cheeses, fresh & dried fruit , artisanal chocolates and other savory acoutrema, and learn basic Garde Manger- the art of food carving, while getting to enjoy a complimentary wine tasting of seasonal inspired wines provided by One Hope Wine Founded in 2007 in the Napa Valley, One Hope Wine's Nourish the Future project, has donated over $11M to over 40,000 local non-profits, in their mission to help create positive change across the country.
Guests will also be able to tour the beautifully renovated former church, originally built in the 1800s, which has been meticulously remodeled to seamlessly blend modern sophistication with timeless tradition, creating the perfect setting for an affordable, modern, and deeply meaningful wedding, bridal shower, celebration of life, party, or holiday event.
