Hyde War Memorial Truat wants to hear from our local community.
The Visitor Centre will be open all weekend this Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st from 10am to 4pm each day.
You are invited to see some fabulous old photographs of Lower Higham as a working farm and right up to the present day.
Come to learn about the building of the cenotaph and its architectural features.
And jump ahead to consider what the future of the farmhouse may hold, how it may serve the community, and how we could preserve this very special building.
Bring your children to build a model cenotaph, at a table in the cafe, or take a lego kit outdoors and find a quiet spot. Grown ups welcome too!
Ever wondered how a dry stone wall is built? Now's your chance to have a go on a scaled down model with the help of the Dry Stone Walling Association.
Lots to do and see, all free.
The cafe will be open all weekend for soup, snacks and of course cake!
