Moving Water within 25 miles of the River's Edge
The final AOY event for the 2025 Kayak Anglers of Western PA season will also be this year's signature event. This event and post-tournament festivities are brought to us by River's Edge Canoe and Kayak. Neill and Ev are long-time supporters of KA and most of the anglers in our series have bought multiple kayaks from the River's Edge. We are grateful for all that they do for KA and the kayak fishing community.

Boundary limits:
Lower Allegheny River
Railroad bridge above Templeton that crosses the Allegheny River is the uppermost boundary to the Point in downtown Pittsburgh. There are locks and dams within this boundary so please use caution if you plan to float any section of the Allegheny and make a float plan if you plan to use the lock/dam system. Please do your homework, pay attention to warning signs, and know what dangers exist downstream from the locks.
Kiski River
From Conemaugh Dam to Saltsburg on the Kiski and from Loyalhanna Dam to Saltsburg on the Loyalhanna then from Saltsburg to the mouth of the Allegheny River.
***You can fish any tributary up to 5 miles off the mouth where the tributary flows into the Allegheny, Kiski, Conemaugh, and Loyalhanna Rivers within boundaries stated above.***
Entry Fee:
KA Member: $55 (TourneyX and Independent Judging fee included)
Non-Member: $70 (TourneyX and Independent Judging fee included)
Optional $10 big bass buy-in
Deadline to sign-up is Friday, September 5th at 8:00pm
5-fish limit, 12-inch minimum

Event Outline:
Friday, September 5th
Virtual Captain's meeting via Facebook Live will be at 8:00pm.
The 3-digit code will be announced live, emailed to you, and posted on the TourneyX app at 9:00pm. The 2025 KA universal identifier and code must be in all photos.
Reminder: Your identifier must contain the 3-digit code, initials, and must be completely visible in your fish submissions. You can download the identifier here.
Saturday, September 6th
Launch and Lines in: 7:00am
Lines out: 3:00pm
Fish submitted by: 4:00pm
Check out by 4:00pm
Awards Location: The River's Edge Canoe and Kayak (Leechburg, PA) at 5:30pm. All anglers should be back at the River's Edge by 5:00pm for food, party tent fun, and the charity raffle with great prizes. Plan your float, shuttling, and drive accordingly.
Sunday, September 7th
The 24-hour protest period ends at 4:00pm
Winner will be paid via PayPal
