Come join "Keep Barnstable Beautiful," a local chapter of Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, along with your family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to give the Town of Barnstable a thorough Fall cleaning!
This cleanup offers volunteers the opportunity to get some fresh air while cleaning up the litter that has accumulated across our town in the villages of Hyannis, Centerville, Marstons Mills and Hyannis.
Volunteers meet at the Barnstable Adult Community Center - 825 Falmouth Rd, Hyannis, MA 02601
Keep Barnstable Beautiful will provide all the supplies.
All volunteers are urged to follow these safety guidelines:
* Wear rubber-lined gloves (KBB will provide gloves)
*Use proper technique when removing gloves and sanitize hands after
*Use a trash grabber tool (KBB will provide tools)
*Wear light colored/brightly colored clothing (KBB will provide safety vests)
*Clean up in the direction of oncoming traffic and avoid stepping into the street whenever possible
