It’s difficult to think about your child’s life and supports after the age of 18 when they are so young and that’s okay. We hope being able to get together, provide a space to ask questions, and have help with the I/DD application makes it a little easier. Even if you aren’t sure that you will need the supports, we encourage you to apply. You don’t have to accept the services once your child is older. However, the wait list is 12+ years at this point in time.
Even if your child doesn’t qualify for the full I/DD waiver there may be other supports available.
We will have a classroom set aside for childcare and pizza for everyone. This classroom is set up with sensory toys, restrooms, and plenty of activities.
We can submit your applications for you directly to the CDDO by scanning any documents needed and returning hardcopies to you. Please bring copies of medical documentation regarding a diagnosis contributing to the disability for us to submit with your application.
If you are wanting a tour of Tech or Disability Supports, I am more than happy to help facilitate or support during a tour.
