Description: The Corvidae is one of the most fascinating families of birds on earth. They are intelligent and social and are deeply woven into the superstitions and folklore of countless cultures. I will touch on features of the family as a whole and then look at the nine species that can typically be found in Idaho. This will include basic biology, geographic areas of occurrence, and interesting historical and cultural facts.
