Nillumbik Repair Cafe - May

This May cafe is our next event. As usual we will have our wonderful bunch of skilled volunteers with basic tools who are willing to work with you to try and fix your broken items or give simple tech help for phones and computers.

We'll be hosting the second 'Lost Skill's' session as part of the REthink Nillumbik project. This one is teaching basic embroidery stitches to personalise and upcycle clothes and textiles. From 10am to 12pm, drop by and join in.

Our handy fixers and tinkerers can help with clothing, new and old tech, small household furniture, sewing machines, blunt knives and scissors, mechanical garden equipment like lawnmowers, and miscellaneous broken household objects.

Kids are welcome to hang out at the Tinker Table. Have a go at pulling apart some simple objects, checking out how they work, and trying to put them back together!
