2025 marks our 70th Anniversary AND the 32nd Season of the City Lights & Stars Concert Series at Burritt on the Mountain.
Huntsville’s In the Mood | September 26th Gates Open at 6:00 pm. Concert begins at 7:30 pm.
Enjoy being entertained under the Alabama stars with the breathtaking view of the City of Huntsville only Burritt can provide. A casual atmosphere encourages attendees to bring chairs, blankets and picnic food to enjoy a relaxed musical experience. Food trucks will be onsite and wine, beer and other drinks are sold at every concert.
Huntsville’s In the Mood is a traditional 21-piece Glenn Miller-style big band based in Huntsville, Alabama. The band formed with a mission of keeping the legacy of Glenn Miller alive, and to help introduce newer audiences to the wonderful popular music from the big band era, played by local musicians. Occasionally nicknamed the “Glenn Miller band of North America”, the band strives to reproduce the quality and authenticity of the greats from the 1940s and 1950s, including Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, and Bobby Darin. Our music is great for people of all ages. This is swing music at its finest, and it is a style that can never go out of style.
All online ticket sales end the day of concert at 4pm or until Sold Out.

Reservations close on Tuesday at noon before each concert.
