The Gibson Girls to perform at Shepherd of the Prairie
Hear The Gibson Girls, a close harmony trio of sisters singing favorite tunes from the swing and boogie-woogie eras and more, at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main Street, Huntley, on Friday, September 12 at 7:00pm.
Sponsored by the SOTP Artist Series, the public is invited to attend this free performance. No tickets are required and freewill donations are gratefully accepted.
The trio is composed of three sisters - Alisha, Kabryn, and Kathryn Gibson - who started singing in church when they were very young. It has always been their heart's desire to travel around and singing for the Lord. Their repertoire is a blend of Christian and Vintage Classics.
Since 2018, the Gibson Girls have had the privilege to be a part of the Greater Peoria Honor Flights that take veterans to see the distinctive veterans’ memorials in Washington, D.C. In addition, they take part in many other events which honor veterans and the military.
The Gibson Girls state, “We want to bring fresh, uplifting music that will encourage and inspire all who hear. We pray that every song will bring hope to the hearer and show Christ's amazing love for us all.”
