The first solo feature from legendary director Frank Capra (It’s a Wonderful Life, It Happened One Night) is a silent comedy masterpiece. Harry Langdon stars at his comic best playing Paul, a Belgian war veteran who journeys to America as assistant to a carnival strong man after falling for his American pen-pal. He finds her in a small town, which is terrorized by a gang of bootleggers. Slapstick hijinks occur and unravel as his quest leads him from mishap to comic disaster. (1926, 75 mins)
