July Lunch & Learn: DAR

Come to July's Lunch & Learn to discover more about Huntington's chapter of the DAR. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children. The Huntington DAR chapter, called Ketewamoke, was founded in 1908 and is named for the indigenous name for the area.

Gourmet sandwiches, salads, and desserts will be served; along with coffee, tea, and wine.

Pricing: Members: $35 Non-Members: $45

Street parking in front of the Chapter house and a municipal lot is up the street

The program begins at 12 pm and runs for approximately two hours.
