JAZZ! at the Barn - Eric Miller Courageous Portals Band

Eric Miller's Courageous Portals Band will be performing original compositions that mix elements of Jazz Funk Latin grooves and electronic soundscapes.

The title of the band comes from a Wayne Shorter quote; "I think that music opens portals and doorways into unknown sectors that it takes courage to leap into." Wayne Shorter was one of Eric's teachers at the Herbie Hancock Institute in Los Angeles.

Eric is an alum of Manhattan School of Music the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz and Juilliard.
