Cultural Expression Bouquet

Every Thursday, participants will create a symbolic bouquet, with each flower representing cultural influences, personal stories, and ancestral threads. Using textiles, paper, paint, found objects, and natural elements, you will craft a piece that tells your unique story. Supplies provided. All skills welcome.

Week 2 – Blossoming Stories

Begin creating artwork flowers. Learn how mixed media and

layering enhance visual storytelling.

Week 3 – Flowers in Focus

Dive into mixed media floral imagery. Explore flowers in art

history, practice composition, and color harmony.

Week 4 – Flow & Movement

Discover line, rhythm, and movement to bring your piece

together as a reflection of who you are.

Week 5 – Bringing It Together

Coordinate color, texture, and composition to unify your

bouquet.
