Of the six Rin Tin Tin silent films still in existence, the most memorable is Clash of the Wolves. Rin Tin Tin plays a half-dog, half-wolf named Lobo, who is living in the wild as the leader of a wolf pack. Through an act of kindness, a prospector Dave Weston (Charles Farrell), saves Lobo’s life, and the two develop a deep bond. When Weston’s makes an important find at his mining claim, a claim jumper attempts to K*ll him and take it, but Lobo jumps into action to protect his friend. (1925, 74 mins)
