Come join the bakers for a fun evening making and tasting fresh sourdough bread!
This 2.5 hour workshop will give you hands-on experience with all the key steps of the sourdough bread-making process including:
How to feed a starter
How to mix and shape dough
Understanding bulk fermentation
How to score and bake a loaf
Banneton care
Fresh baked Sourdough bread and more will be served as a snack during class!
Each Participant will take home:
-active sourdough starter
-dough for a loaf to bake in your kitchen
-banneton with liner
-my favorite sourdough recipes
-printed Oh Sourdough Beginner recipe and starter care guide
-access to our online sourdough community where you can share photos of your first loaf, ask questions and receive mentoring as you bake at home
Added BONUS:
- the Baker's favorite sourdough recipes
*additional sourdough tools such as a breadmat, lame and bench scraper will be available for purchase at class.
Cancellations:
If you cancel 48 hours in advance, you will receive a partial refund of 50%. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop will not be eligible for a refund, but you may send a friend to take your spot if you communicate with Miriam from Oh Sourdough Baking Co. We cannot offer full or partial refunds for no-shows or last minute (12 hours prior to class) cancellations, as spots are limited. Rescheduling is only done on a case by case basis.
