Eli's Coming

Why is Wednesday, May 7, an suspicious day? Here's why. On that day, in the Nature Center, visitors will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with one of our most popular residents -- Eli the Northern Cottonmouth.

In this program geared toward snake enthusiasts ages 10 and older, attendees will learn about Eli's natural history and things that upset him such as being called the wrong name and mistaken for other ophidian residents of North Harris County.
