Difficult, will-bending, quads burning and mind testing race like no other!
With awesome small team of volunteers, family oriented (RDs kids will be running in HQ handling medals and there is playground near by for all kids - also we always have lollies for little ones) and really good food! Fanta, 7up, Dr Pepper, Mountain fuel gels and flapjacks and yummy baps + sweets and crisps etc
INFERNO - Edale's Ring of Hell Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon & 10 miles are set in the heart of Peak District (UK's Original National Park) and provide an unforgettable adventure thanks to its wide range of terrain. Race starts in Edale (just 5 min walk from a very well connected train station, which is super convenient ) and quickly leads up Ringing Roger via steep ascent. The race follows sheep tracks, muddy paths, rocky descents and even a climb up waterfall with crystal clear water (that's our unofficial water station). Event have 4 distances: Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon and 10miles. Ultra is for the real nutters and is extremely difficult. Please be aware you will be self-supported for long periods of time (10-15miles between Checkpoints), so make sure you carry enough water with you (there is few streams and waterfall on the course).
The race will be self-navigated - GPX, map with marked route will be provided to download. We can organise a recce for each course to get you familiar with terrain and route, if there will be interested group. This will be free of charge!
Ultra & marathon runners will have gps trackers, so their friends can watch them :D
