Did you know that if not for the tireless work of one woman, the iconic art of Vincent van Gogh, arguably one of the most recognizable and beloved artists in history, would be unknown to us?
Join us for The Bookish Buzz, an informal gathering of book lovers for conversation centered on an author, book, or theme. Hosted by Chapter2 Books at Black Rooster Bistro, we bring together authors or community partners for fun conversations inspired by books while enjoying the ambience and excellent hand-crafted cocktails and curated spirits of Black Rooster Bistro.
In February, we'll welcome Tom Adamson, owner of Hudson Art Gallery and a member of the Visual Art Council of The Phipps Center for the Arts, for a deep dive into the book Saving Vincent: A Novel of Jo van Gogh by Joan Fernandez. Tom Adamson is one of Hudson's foremost advocates for the visual arts; his enthusiasm for visual art and art collecting spans many years, including his business career in many design-centric businesses.
Whether you're here to learn, share, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, it's the perfect evening out for book lovers and cocktail enthusiasts alike. Both Chapter2 Books and Black Rooster Bistro look forward to welcoming everyone for a great year of bookish conversations.
Tickets are $10 and include a $5 coupon for Chapter2 Books.
