Seminar: Boating on Rivers, lake & locks with focus on St.Croix & Mississippi rivers

The Boating on Rivers, Locks and Lakes Seminar addresses the specific needs of inland boaters. General topics include special navigation rules for rivers; river currents and “reading” a river; jetties & wing dams; communicating with lockmasters and bridgetenders; how to maneuver in the presence of commercial vessels; and the process of locking through.

Seminar attendance is complimentary for members.
Non-members are asked to pay a $20.00 materials fee.
