TSL Kirklees Safeguarding Network - Meet Kirklees Probation Services

In-person event for third sector organisations in Kirklees including Safeguarding Leads.

Meet Lucy Nicholson, Head of Kirklees Probation Delivery Unit (PDU). Find out up-to-date information about the PDU’s role in managing risk and providing support for people released from prison or on community service. You will also hear about how they work in partnership with third sector organisations to help people reintegrate, including through volunteering.
This meeting will take the format of an information session followed by questions and answers. There will also be an opportunity to network and discuss safeguarding themes with third sector colleagues in a supportive environment.
The session will be relevant to Safeguarding Leads and Volunteer Managers of Kirklees-based charities and groups, as well as local third sector organisations that support victims of crime and run wellbeing activities etc.
Please note: This event is organised by TSL Kirklees - a local charity that gives free support, advice and training to any charity, community group or social enterprise in Kirklees - and is only open to any workers, trustees or volunteers from third sector organisations based or working in Kirklees. Our events and services are free because, like any other charity, we rely on grants and funding.
