Larry Van Kriedt is a singer-songwriter record-producer whose music is a mix of jazz, melodic pop, blues & rock. An original member of rock band AC/DC, Larry was heavily influenced by his father’s music (Dave Van Kriedt was a big name on the West Coast jazz scene having played and recorded with Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, and the Stan Kenton Big Band).
A world traveler, Larry left his native city of San Francisco at the age of 15 moving to Sydney Australia with family where he lived for many years before moving on to more exotic places - Thailand, Morocco, Andalucia, Paris - finally settling down in the UK where he now lives. Primarily a vocalist and guitarist, Larry is also well known for his bass and saxophone playing. A cancer survivor, he no longer plays the saxophone following invasive surgery on his jaw in 2008. Larry will be joined by multi-instrumentalist jazz musician Jeremy Platt.
