This is a day of Commander! There will be 4 games, 2 in the Final Fantasy Commander Party rules and 2 games using the Pride rules. These can be found below. Players can bring any commander decks they want, but please make sure they are EDH with bracket 4 being the highest. This will be a casual event for chilled games. Games will last at most 1 hour to ensure all games are done at a reasonable time. There are 3 promo cards for attending this event and other freebies!
Pride Rules:
For the Magic Presents: Pride event, treat all eligible commanders as though they had the partner ability. This allows players to add an additional commander to a deck they already have or use a never-before-seen combination of two commanders to helm a totally new deck.
Final Fantasy Rules:
During their turn, a player may activate only as a sorcery the ability on their card to create a 1/1 Hero creature token (A create your own token supplied during the event) if they do not already control a Hero token. Encourage them to give their Hero token a name!
At the beginning of their end step, if a player controls a Hero token, and they've completed the requirements of the next quest on their list, they may mark it as complete. When they do, they roll the six-sided die to claim the corresponding reward from the rewards card.
If a player completes the last of the five quests on their sheet, they win the game!
