Following the release of the critically acclaimed new album The Light Fantastic, one of the
country’s most underrated yet most loved singer-songwriters, John Bramwell will play three exclusive full band shows this August as John Bramwell & The Full Harmonic Convergence.
John and band will play shows in Liverpool, Huddersfield and Manchester where John will return to his one time place of employment as venue programmer, the Night & Day Cafe.
Lauded across the board, The Light Fantastic is a masterclass in emotionally charged and
melodically driven tunes for the adventurous, supported by The Full Harmonic Convergence’s warming arrangements –– “After both my Mum and Dad died, I started writing these songs to cheer myself up,” John admits with typical candour. “The themes are taken from my dreams at the time. Wake up and take whatever impression I had from what I could remember of my dream and write that.”
Despite the sentiment, the songs are surprisingly uplifting and have been lighting up live shows across the country and the country’s radiowaves since the album’s release.
