Holmfirth Artweek returns for another year, with three floors of original art from over 400 artists in the main exhibition at the Civic.
The exhibition is open:
Sunday 6th July: 10am - 5pm
Monday 7th - Friday 11th July: 10am - 9pm
Saturday 12th July: 10am - 5pm
Please note the market closes at 4pm on Saturday 12th.
Tickets cost £3 each and allow return visits throughout the week.
Entry is free for under 16s.
The first two floors of the Civic host our open art exhibition with work from hundreds of different artists, and the top floor is dedicated to our featured artists for 2025 - abstract painter Emma Oughtibridge and woodworker Roger Green.
On the stage of the first floor you will find a variety of artists throughout the week demonstrating their skills, and on the stage of the second floor you will find a market of smaller works, cards and prints, which can be bought and taken away immediately (a great place to shop for unique gifts).
We also have a café on the ground floor in case you need a break for lunch or coffee and cake.
The majority of the Civic has disabled access, but we're afraid there is currently no disabled access to the demonstrators' stage on the first floor.
We do not allow dogs in the main exhibition (other than assistance dogs).
As a fundraising event, all work in Artweek is for sale, with a minimum 20% of each sale going to our charities - the Kirkwood and Macmillan Cancer Support, with the remaining amount going to the artist.
Since Artweek began in 1966, we have raised £1,135,000 for charity.
Work bought from the main exhibition must remain on display until close at 5pm on Saturday 12th. Buyers can collect their purchases between 5pm - 9pm on Saturday 12th July.
Along with the main exhibition, there are also a variety of Fringes hosting their own exhibitions in venues around Holmfirth and the surrounding areas.
Pick up a free Artweek Guide to find full details of where these are, their opening hours and who's exhibiting where.
