Join us for a heartwarming community event to restore the front gardens of our neighbors on Ings Way West!
The residents of the bungalows that back onto the recreation ground have spent years tending to their beautiful front spaces, but as they've gotten older, it's become more difficult for them to maintain. It's time for us to step up and show them what our community can do when we work together.
Let's make a real difference in just one hour!
Our mission is simple and impactful:
🌼Weeding: Let's clear out all the unwanted weeds along the pavements, verges, and garden beds.
🚜Mowing: We'll give the residents' lawns a fresh, clean cut.
🪑Restoring: We'll sand down and re-varnish the communal benches, giving them a new lease on life.
🧹Tidying: We'll handle a general tidy-up to make the area shine.
Please all meet in The Square at 2om on Thursday 21st Aug. It's just a short walk from there, and we'll head over together.
If you have them, please bring any tools you can, like brushes, shovels, hoes, and gardening gloves.
Let's show our neighbors how much we care and leave the area looking better than ever. We're counting on a great turnout!
