Lavender Wand Workshop in the Garden (Weather Permitting)

Who would like to join me for a gentle, creative morning surrounded by the scent of fresh lavender?

We’ll be using bunches of beautiful lavender and colourful ribbons to create traditional lavender wands. These make lovely natural additions to wardrobes or rooms, or simply serve as charming decorative pieces.

I’ll guide you step by step in making your own lavender wand — it’s the perfect time to trim back your lavender bushes to keep them healthy and prevent them from becoming too woody. Fresh lavender will be provided, but you’re very welcome to bring your own if you like. I’ll also share a photo guide on how to prune your plants in the discussion beforehand.

We’ll enjoy soothing herbal teas and delicious vegan cakes as we craft together.

Getting here:
Parking is available at the leisure centre or Market Square, though it may be easier to walk if you’re local. I’m just a 10 minute walk from the tram and 5 minutes from the Titchfield Street bus stop.
