Welcome the season of return with an afternoon of slow, intentional making. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a 10” grapevine spring wreath using homegrown, hand-harvested dried flowers from a local Michigan farm, along with thoughtfully curated natural elements. Guided step-by-step, you’ll be invited to design a wreath that feels both personal and grounded — perfect for your door, wall, or seasonal altar. NOTE: wreath image is an example only of the spring style; elements may vary.
This workshop is about more than decoration. It’s a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and mark the shift from winter into spring through natural materials and mindful creation.
All materials are provided. No prior experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to create.
You’ll leave with:
-A finished 10” grapevine wreath
-A deeper appreciation for seasonal, earth-based craft
-A piece made with intention to carry you into spring
This workshop is led by Jessica Anchor, the artist and maker behind Anchored Roots, a small-batch studio creating handmade wreaths, brooms, and botanical offerings inspired by the rhythms of nature, seasonal cycles, and quiet ritual. Working with dried florals, herbs, and natural elements, her pieces are designed to bring grounding, beauty, and intention into everyday spaces.
Through her workshops, Jessica invites people to slow down, work with their hands, and reconnect with the simple magic of creating — no experience required, just curiosity and a willingness to play with nature.
When she’s not making, she’s dreaming up new ways to weave earth, art, and meaning together, one bundle at a time.
