Kokosing River clean-up

Please join us this year for the 2025 Kokosing River Rally, sponsored by Knox County Recycling and Litter Prevention. Paddle For Heroes will be cleaning the 6-mile section from Millwood to Riley Chapel Rd. Bring your canoe, kayak and river shoes to help preserve one of Ohio's most scenic rivers. Meet us at the Millwood public access at 0830 to stage vehicles, hand out supplies sign waivers and do a safety briefing. Lunch will be provided at the mid-point, Zuck Riparian Preserve. We have a limited number of canoes and kayaks available by RSVP. The first 25 participants that commit via text @ 740-258-2127 will receive a gift bag of goodies from PFH, Knox County Veterans Services Office and a Kokosing River Rally T-shirt.
