Get Revved Up to Support Disabled Veterans: POKER RUN 4 HOPEWELL RANCH
Calling all motorcycle riding enthusiasts! Join us for a thrilling Poker Run to support the rehabilitation efforts of disabled veterans at Hopewell Ranch. This incredible organization provides life-changing support and resources to those who have served our country and have had to readjust to their new life with a disability. They’re trained for war but never trained to come home, let’s help reassure them that they are not alone.
*Event Details:*
- Date: May 31st, 2025
- Registration: 10 - 11:30 am (1000 - 1130 hrs)
- Ride Time: 12-5 pm (1200-1700 hrs)
- Location: Frosty’s Amble Roadhouse, 9490 Main St, Howard City, MI 49329 (This will be the start and stop point
- Route: Leave Amble East on M46 to M91 North, stop at Chapz Roadhouse; M91 South to Langston Bar and Grill (drawing entries available for purchase); M91 South to Winter Inn; M91 South to M44 East stop at HOG Cannabis Co. where the Slow Ride can be attempted; M44 East to M66 North Stop at Hog’s Head Saloon; M66 North to Sidney Rd, Left; Continue onto 19 Mile then onto Lincoln Lake Rd South to 18 Mile Rd, Right; 18 Mile to N. Main St/Northland Dr, Left stop at Cloud Cannabis; N. Main St./Northland Dr North to M46 East to Frosty’s Amble Roadhouse for the after party!
- At Langston Bar & Grill there will be a silent auction as well as a raffle drawing for a prize package. Tickets can be purchased at time of event.
- At HOG Cannabis Co, in Belding there will be a Slow Ride event that can be attempted for $10 each try

ALTHOUGH EARLY REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED, IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED.
For those who register the day of will have from 10:00 until 11:30 am. This allows 30 minutes to do last minute checks and get ready to ride out.

- Ride to designated checkpoints and collect more cards

HOG Cannabis CO is owned and operated by Emily and Jay Elms, a local couple that served as Combat Medics post 9/11 in the US Army for 8 years. They met in the Army and served as medics with a dual MOS of Licensed Practical Nurse. Upon completion of active duty, Jay went on to work at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans for many years. Emily continued into specialized nursing as a Therapeutic Apheresis RN. Throughout their journey in the Army as well as civilian nursing, Emily and Jay understood the necessity of the medicinal properties of cannabis as an option for symptom management. They became state licensed cannabis cultivators in 2018, focusing on purity and quality for Michigan’s medical cannabis patients. They have grown their business to vertical integration, allowing them to grow/process/sell their own small batch cannabis. Emily and Jay lead their team shoulder-to-shoulder and are thankful for the love and support that they receive every day from the community surrounding HOG Cannabis CO.
Big Dumb Entertainment LLC is proudly owned and operated by Tony Wright, a dedicated veteran who served in the Army and Army National Guard for nearly 15 years. Throughout his service, he faced three combat tours, two hardship deployments, and countless training missions across the country. As many who have served in the U.S. military can attest, the demands of service take a serious toll on both mind and body.After completing a three-month inpatient PTSD treatment program through the VA, Tony faced another hurdle—an autoimmune disorder that prevented him from taking the medication that had once helped him reclaim his life. Determined to find an alternative, he delved into research and read testimonials from fellow veterans. That’s when he discovered the potential of the "miracle flower"—and it changed everything.Ever wondered why there are two dispensaries along the route instead of a row of bars?
