SANCTUARY (Featured Artist)
�Sanctuary will perform her latest album, Yes. It draws inspiration from La Via Dolorosa, ambient and punk rock music. The performance will span approximately 30 minutes with live, experimental vocals, and will also include poetic incorporations from her latest, unreleased chapbook, Black. The performance will be a visceral escape and grand epiphany.
Andra Durham is a multidisciplinary artist that advances critical cultural dialogue and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to amplifying essential messages in contemporary art. Through poetry, sound production, modeling, visual art, and event curation, Durham slices through conventional artistic boundaries like obsidian through silk. Notable examples of work include Fractured, Yet Healing (Wipf + Stock), selected poet (Cave Canem Houston Regional workshop, "Further Invention"), and Free Improvisation (Nameless Sound and Volta).
