Opening Celebration | Threat of Joy: Teacher Advisory Group Exhibition

Join us to celebrate the opening of Threat of Joy, the fourth annual exhibition organized by Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH)’s Teacher Advisory Group (TAG). The exhibition is organized by 15 Houston-area art teachers and showcases their art practice alongside that of their students. Recognizing joy as a form of rebellion and a powerful tool to move forward and persevere in times of struggle. About Teacher Advisory Group

Launched in October 2021, CAMH’s Teacher Advisory Group is a cohort of highly motivated and passionate teachers. The group was created for teachers to share their knowledge and experience with CAMH staff in shaping future programs and vision within the Education and Public Programs department. The Teacher Advisory Group provides strategic recommendations, support in writing exhibition-specific materials, and advocates for CAMH’s programs within their classrooms, schools, and community.
