Lyceum Speaker: Chris H. Bridge

Join us for a meaningful evening as The Houston Club celebrates Barbara Bush Literacy Month with special guest Chris Helene Bridge, author of Ganny Says—a heartfelt children’s book inspired by the wisdom and wit of Barbara Bush herself.

Chris will share her personal journey in literacy advocacy, including her partnership with the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation to bring books to at-risk children, continuing Mrs. Bush’s legacy of compassion, education, and family values. Guests will enjoy a special reading from Ganny Says, along with light bites, thoughtful conversation, and inspiring storytelling that reminds us of the transformative power of literacy.
